Fin profile #2: Smaller fin tip with a larger fin base and it forms a taper. High aspect ratio which is suitable for forced air cooling products. It is more lightweight under the premise of no performance reduction.
Fin profile #3: Smaller fin tip with a larger fin base and it forms a taper. Knurls are added to the fin surface. Both fin profiles #1 & #2 are suitable for this type of design to increase the surface area. The size of the knurls is inversely proportional to the aspect ratio.
